A veterinarian with over 28 years of experience, for the past twelve of those years Dr. Sandra Fatone has been operating Mid Hudson Equine of Highland—an exclusively equine ambulatory practice—as a solo practitioner working out of a traditional “vet truck body”. But when she decided it was time for an upgrade, Dr. Fatone contacted Gene from Bay Horse of New York.
After years of practice, Dr. Fatone had some definite ideas about how the right set up could make her practice much more efficient.
Dr. Fatone says, “I wanted a place to properly hang up my x-ray aprons and Gene came up with a great solution for that. One of my favorite features are the two low storage compartments that allow equipment to be stored out of the way.
Also, all the extra space in the rig allowed all the heavy equipment to be moved out of the truck cab and into the truck body freeing up the cab for other uses. When I came to pick up my rig, Gene quickly realized that I’m not very tall and before I left, he had added handles to all the upper doors so that I could easily manage every one of them.
