When Dr. Katie Nenneker decided it was time for the perfect mobile veterinary clinic, she asked fellow veterinarians who they recommended and that’s how she came to contact Gene Velten and Bay Horse Innovations of New York about building her new rig. Dr. Nenn is a fully mobile veterinary practice specializing in equine dentistry so the right design was very important.

Say’s Dr. Nenn, “There is a spot for everything! We had holders made to fit long items like lunge whips and the stem of our dental head stand. The two hose system is wonderful, one by our cleaning station and one out the back on a coil so that we can rinse off animals or things a little further away from the truck. An extension cord out the back runs of the inverter so we never need to rely on a power source at the barn. We can hook up our dental power tools and use them even in tough locations. And to top it all off we have a glove dispenser for easy grab and go”.

While her specialty is equine dentistry, Dr. Nenn can provide anything you need in the way of general equine wellness, including vaccines and physicals. However you can also count on her for looking after the health and welfare of farm animals as well, including goats—and she has a special affinity for pot-bellied pigs!
